Getting noticed by employers is a challenge, especially in a competitive job market. Here are three tips to give yourself a headstart.

  1. Complete your profile including education qualifications and job experience.
  2. Record and upload a 60 secs video to showcase not only your qualifications and experience, but provide insights to your personality.
  3.  Be pro-active and approach the recruiters at the booths instead of waiting for a chat invite. Bonus points if you do a bit of research and know the recruiting team before your chat.

Always treat a video interview as how you would approach an in-person interview.

  1. First impressions count so do put on a formal attire for the interview
  2. Make sure the video background is uncluttered. Alternatively make sure you apply a virtual background or use the blur background options.
  3. Prepare by having a dry run with the device and camera that you will be using and make sure that the wi-fi is not overloaded during the time of the interview

Applying for jobs at any SeeMeEvents virtual career fair is simple as:

  1. Visiting an exhibitor’s booth
  2. Browsing the open job positions
  3. If there are any recruiters at the booth, you may initiate a chat with them for clarification. Else drop them a direct message.
  4. Click “Apply” for the jobs that you are interested in.

It is very important to fill in as much information for your profile to get the best chance to get noticed. Good luck!
